
Bacon-wrapped green asparagus
An older recipe I made earlier this year. So simple and yummy:
Bacon-wrapped green asparagus!
I bought the green asparagus at my farmers market, of course. Cleaned it and just chopped off the harder ends. No peeling, no precooking, just like it is.
Then I wrapped 3 pieces of asparagus in bacon, placed it in a bowl – that is safe for the oven!
Spiced it all up with garlic, roasted red pepper, grind pepper (no salt, the bacon is salty enough).
Put it in the oven for about 25 minutes at 180 deg Celsius (~356 deg Fahrenheit) and it was all done. Yummy!
