
Cheeseburger
Since I cut out almost all carbs for dinner in my diet, I needed to come up with a solution how I could stop my craving for cheeseburgers.
Why not have cheeseburgers without the buns? Too easy…
I gathered ground meat (half pork, half beef), tomatoes, onions, salad, pickles and cheese.
Mix the meat with onions, pepper, salt, roasted red pepper, basil, oregano, thyme and a pinch of garlic. After that form patties and place them in a casserole.
I do that in order to use less fat. Baking the patties is less fatty than frying them.
Wash all veggies, cut them as desired and place them on the hot patty, also the cheese.
We put our burger patties on top of a nice bed of raw greens — basically a salad. We use burger condiments for “salad dressing.”
