14 days raw foods detox challenge – day 5

After a long day of work I have to say: these smoothies seriously do a good job in the morning! Since I was traveling all day, I did not get a proper lunch, so I had some nuts and raisins instead.
This smoothie made of banana, oranges, carrots, organic oats, apple, almond milk and matcha really saved my day. I was stuffed all day and took care of hydrating. I know, it is not a good idea to skip a meal but sometimes there are busy days and it will hopefully not repeat any time soon.

I’m also very glad that we have such a nice employer who provides us with fresh fruit and veggies so we all have a chance to be nourished well. That’s something I really appreciate!

Well, after this day had been so long and I got off work late, I was a lazy b and solemnly prepared a plain green salad with rocket, mache, olives, avocado, celery and broccoli. I topped it all with lemon juice, pepper and honey. Yes, honey, fortunately, is to be considered raw!!! Yay for honey!
