14 days raw foods detox challenge – day 7

Halftime – How I am lacking motivation today… I really really want a warm and cooked dinner! It’s not that I experience any negative development for my health, I am just freezing all the time and tea doesn’t help anymore. I already have hot-water bags in bed at night because I don’t heat up at all. It seems, my body is shutting down metabolism… Hey, that wasn’t the deal!
I still have 7 days to go and since I made it to halftime, I will make it through second half, too. Somehow.
My day started with a variation of ingredients in my smoothie. Along with the fruits (kiwi, apple, blueberries, raspberries) and my oats and almond milk, I put cinnamon and real cocoa powder in it. That was awesome!

For dinner, I threw together some leftovers from the days before.

I need to remind myself that drinking is awfully important. I usually drink half a gallon of water a day anyway but eating all raw foods, I have to add on. Otherwise I feel bloated and uncomfortable.
If any of you readers have suggestions on keeping the mood and motivation up, I am more than thankful for any advice!
