14 days raw foods detox challenge – day 9

Oh my, today I thought I couldn’t get enough food, I was eating the whole time.
My day started with this really nice smoothie made of grapes, kiwi, apple, organic oats, almond milk, matcha and real vanilla.



After a long stroll in the late morning, I treated myself with an improvised iced latte made of two espresso shots, almond milk, cinnamon, real vanilla and some protein powder.

Seriously, I don’t know where this food craving came from, so I decided to eat something more substantially for lunch:
Banana, tangerine, figs and hazelnuts.

This finally helped until the evening so I had my head clear for a nice little homemade guacamole salsa:

1/2 cucumber
15 cherry tomatoes
1 avocado
juice of 1/2 lemon
pine, sunflower and pumpkin seeds
garlic, chili, thyme, oregano, rosemary, salt, pepper, roasted red pepper

Put all in a food processor and there is the guacamole salsa. I used it as a dip for raw carrots, celery and mushrooms together with olives.
