Going fully vegan
…sooooo. I have been thinking and came to a conclusion. A life-changing decision.
After my “raw detox” I felt good, very refreshed. During those 14 days eating only raw fruits, veggies and nuts, cutting out all animal products and cooked foods, not even eating bread, I felt good. I had absolutely no problems whatsoever – except for this freezing thing, I have been cold the whole time. Maybe this happens only during the beginning during the adjustment time, I don’t know.
I have now been eating normal again, which included milk, cheese, even some meats. And I feel bad physically ever since I ate as usual!
I have been sick with a flu, I have tummy issues, I’m always hungry…
Although I have always been rather plant-based and due to lactose intolerance not the biggest dairy consumer, I actually think, my body likes the whole-plant-based diet better.
From today on I will try to live completely vegan – not raw, but wholly plant-based.
I’m very curious, what kind of changes I will recognize and whether my assumptions were correct concerning the dairies and meat.
Will keep all of you up to date and of course, I would also love to hear your stories. Anything inspiring is more than welcome!
I’ve been feeling pretty good since making the switch at the beginning of the year! My favorite side effect so far: better sleep.
Very good, Colleen! Thanks for sharing! I can agree to the better sleep, I experienced that, too.
These pictures are mouth watering – apart from that first one – no idea what that is!
Thank you! The first fruit is a dragon fruit, it originally comes from Asia. Very delicious.
